invest 98 remains a unpredictable threat and I pray that all those in Bermuda finished their preps, New Jersey, New York and Nova Scotia are steadily preparing durning these final hours as Hurricayne Fiona moves closer will only get faster in her traveling speed. What concerns me about Fiona the most is the possibility of the major flooding in the region once again as the citizens do not seem to be getting a break from that and nobody wants to see another " super storm sandy " within the near future .
Invest 98 seems like it will have a strong chance of development into a strong system in the near future though I hope not with a good chance of hitting my area directly. Preps will be done shortly here depending on the circumstances and area of course as we already have done over the years . " Don't be scared but ALWAYS be prepared no matter where these storms end up "

For salvation, we just need to follow the way they did it in Acts?
They repented, were baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and received the gift of the Holy Ghost, Acts 2:38!
Here's why! The gospel is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. If we are to follow him, we must do the same thing. Death= repentance, Burial = baptism, and resurrection = being filled and rising again from the dead and walking in the newness of life.
That's what Acts 2:38 is. It harmonizes with Matthew 28:19, and all the other salvation scriptures.
We can't pick and choose which scriptures we like or dislike.
We must obey the gospel, 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9, in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that OBEY NOT THE GOSPEL of our Lord Jesus Christ… Matthew 7:21-23, Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOTH THE WILL OF MY FATHER which is in Heaven. St John 3:3-5, EXCEPT for a man be born of WATER AND OF THE SPIRIT, he cannot enter the kingdom of GOD.
We can't come up with our own gospel. Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Don't be cursed. One way for all people. Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans.
Our salvation has to match up with the scriptures, and no scriptures on the subject can be taken away. Eternity is TOO long to be WRONG! St, John 5:39, search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.
The gospels show what Christ has done on the cross for us. The book of Acts shows us the beginning of Christ's Church and how to enter the Church, obeying Acts 2:38. The letters were written to the Church to show us how to behave now that we are born again into the Church.
It's better to walk alone than with a crowd going in the wrong direction. Are we supposed to follow the teachings of the apostles? Acts 2:42, And they continued steadfastly in the apostle's doctrines. Ephesians 2:20, We are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ being the chief cornerstone. Don't get Titus 3:5 mixed up with James 2:14-26, about WORKS. One is a WORK of your OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS OR GOOD DEEDS, and the other is a WORK OF FAITH or OBEDIENCE TO GOD.
If I buy you a cake and tell you to come to get it, and you refuse to, then you won't have the cake even though it's been fully paid for. Christ paid the full price for our salvation. If we refuse to come to him and obey Acts 2:38 as they did, how shall we receive his salvation?
Noah believed or had FAITH, BUT THEN WORKED OR OBEYED TO BUILD THE ARK TO BE SAVED. LOT believed or had FAITH, BUT THEN OBEYED AND LEFT SODOM. This is why Jesus said, He that who believes and is baptized shall be saved. We must believe and obey Acts 2:38. All scriptures have to harmonize together.

Yeah bro. Keep us posted LOL. How about a total break down of what is going on? What really trips and freaks people out is last minute crap. Show us everything and give us a chance to make up our own minds. I mean "business" may have to stop so we see whose hands feed yall. So another last minute storm and let me tell all you TV idiots and Meterological PHD idiots one thing. Wind is as destructive as surge and just as deadly. In coastal areas you really can't hide from the winds except underground. So corporations and companies should think more about their workers instead of profits. You know folks need to be prepared. After Ida last year in SE LA after everyone was told they could hide from the wind and a lot of people spent 8+ hours in Hell and in some cases a couple of hours using their bodies to keep a door shut? To me it is kind of the most irresponsible to tell people to hide from the wind. If ground winds get over 100 mph folks need to run from the wind too.
The most destructive winds are in Tornadoes and major hurricanes. Fast hurricanes like Laura and slow like Ida with an eye passing overhead will destroy everything in its path. We drove away and evacuated for Ida with the eye path projected to come right over us. It wobbled to the east and no one with a PHD or on TV predicted it. But in the same token no one thought Laura would produce EF three tornado winds in Alexandria either because apparently a lot of idiots out there.
Yeah. "Don't worry now but watch us", right? Give us every bit of info with every run of the models instead of ratings to keep people tuned in for those commercial breaks to make advertisers richer and your sponsors richer. As for TV news. I really love two minutes of weather and 7 or 8 about sports and politics. Sarcasm ya know.
