EXPLANATION on WHY I CHOSE DEEP-PURPLE RED – Deep reds like maroon and burgundy look great on deep skin because they have the same depth and richness, so the colour blends beautifully and looks naturally flattering. They’re dark enough to match the skin’s depth but still bold enough to stand out. Bright reds are much lighter, so sometimes they can look a bit too bright – but this isn’t a strict rule. If someone likes how a bright red looks on them, it can still be a gorgeous choice. It really comes down to personal preference and what makes you feel confident.
