MILAN – Bottega Veneta is restructuring its organization and is promoting Dario Gargiulo to chief executive officer of Greater China to raise the brand positioning and client experience within the region.
Gargiulo is currently chief marketing and digital business officer. He joined Bottega Veneta in 2018 as CMO after a three-year stint at Diesel. Before that, he worked for 12 years at Heineken in various marketing positions in Italy, the Netherlands and Brazil.

On this vein, Blazy, creative director of Bottega Veneta, just returned from a visit to São Paulo, where the brand held the newest chapter in its cultural exchange series The Square. Bottega Veneta touched down within the Brazilian city after Dubai and Tokyo last 12 months, celebrating local culture at Lina Bo Bardi’s iconic Casa de Vidro, or Glass House in English.

BEST FOOT FORWARD: Bottega Veneta has opened a recent footwear atelier in Vigonza, between Padua and Venice, within the Riviera del Brenta, a storied Italian shoe production district.
The façade of the constructing is made with dark metal panels paying homage to the brand’s distinctive Intrecciato leather weaving.
Covering almost 59,000 square feet over three floors, the atelier houses offices, meeting and break rooms, a canteen, and an expansive terrace.
Each Bottega Veneta shoe will now be realized – from the design, development, research, quality control, prototyping, and final production stages – under the identical roof in Vigonza.
