Parfums Christian Dior Unveils Sustainability Strategy: EXCLUSIVE

PARIS — Parfums Christian Dior is unveiling its sustainability strategy, called “Beauty as a Legacy 2030.” That builds on the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned house’s earlier efforts and includes voluntary reporting. “Last yr, it was really about intent, and this yr is about motion,” said Laurent Kleitman, president and chief executive officer of Parfums Christian Dior, calling sustainability a business imperative today. “Sustainability shouldn't be a latest concept at Dior,” he said. Miss Dior Opens L.A. Pop-up

Miss Dior is back on the town in Los Angeles. The French home is unveiling an immersive installation in celebration of the newest incarnation of its famed scent Miss Dior, created by Dior Perfume creation director Francis Kurkdjian. “I dove into the history of the creation of Miss Dior and anchored my inspiration within the powerful and evocative words of Christian Dior,” Kurkdjian told WWD in an exclusive statement. Kurkdjian has worked on five perfumes for Dior since succeeding François Demachy because the in-house perfumer in 2021. Anya Taylor-Joy and Yara Shahidi Fronting Dior Ceaselessly Campaign

PARIS — Fifteen years after Dior Ceaselessly’s introduction, the inspiration brand could have a latest campaign featuring Anya Taylor-Joy and Yara Shahidi on the Salk Institute, WWD has learned in an exclusive preview. Taylor-Joy and Shahidi are each Dior ambassadors representing women’s fashion and sweetness. The campaign was directed by Damien Krisl and photographed by Camilla Akrans. In 1959, physician Jonas Salk, who developed the polio vaccine, turned to architect Louis Kahn to create the Modernist research facility with daring lines he envisioned within the La Jolla community of San Diego, Calif.
