Jonathan Anderson Teases Loewe’s Spring 2024 Menswear in Short Film

DREAM TEAM: Are you dreaming about Paris Fashion Week — and what Jonathan Anderson’s next menswear collection for Loewe might appear to be? Anderson and film director Luca Guadagnino have beat you to the punch, making a short film titled “I Dreamt of Loewe” that provides a glimpse of what the designer will likely be showing on June 24, when Loewe’s spring 2024 show is scheduled. Guadagnino brought his cameras to David Zwirner’s art gallery in Latest York to capture the two-minute film, which incorporates a naked man sleeping on a settee and dreaming about models in sparkly eyewear, high-waisted pants and geometric sweaters interacting with papier-mâché sculptures that look vaguely like icebergs or giant ice-cream cones splashed with paint. Highlight on Jonathan Cohen’s Fall 2023 Collection

Jonathan Cohen’s fall collection began by watching a bouquet of peonies bloom inside his Upper East Side boutique. “I loved watching and monitoring the method; we called the gathering ‘The Birth of the Peony,’” he told WWD. The peony was rendered in multiple stages (and forms) across the gathering — in the shape of painterly motifs atop beautiful dresses and matching sets; as colourful 3D floral appliqués (constructed from fabric scraps) atop a denim bustier and flounced skirt, and exploded across his exceptional knitwear (a la drippy jacquard jumpers, skirts and simple dresses, in addition to artisanal rainbow crochet numbers made in Peru with deadstock cotton).  A glance from Jonathan Cohen rtw fall 2023.
