For Pharrell Williams’ Louis Vuitton pre-fall men’s show in Hong Kong, which referenced Hawaiian surfer nonchalance, makeup artist Pat McGrath created a sun-kissed bronzy beauty look that evoked summer heat and humidity, which agrees with Hong Kong’s subtropical climate.
Talking exclusively with WWD ahead of the show, McGrath revealed that her trick is to prep the skin with Pat McGrath Labs’ Divine Skin 001: Rose the Essence to plump and hydrate the skin, then add a layer of Williams’ Humanrace Humidifying Face cream “so as to add a further surge of moisture.”
