Broken English has upped its Latest York City ante. The independent, multibrand jewelry boutique owned by Laura Freedman has opened its first stand-alone Latest York City location. Set at 42 Crosby Street, the shop offers a gilded, immersive experience for shoppers seeking to buy from Freedman’s assortment of small tremendous jewelers and curated vintage pieces. Previously, Broken English operated a small shop positioned at the back of a SoHo Allsaints store that was separated by a partition and had its own entrance. Sabyasachi Opens Largest Flagship in Mumbai

MUMBAI — Indian designer Sabyasachi has again raised the bar on the dimensions of his stores, opening a 25,862-square-foot flagship just off Mumbai’s Horniman circle area. Within the neighborhood is an Hermès stand-alone store, also housed in a heritage constructing, and a Christian Louboutin shop, amongst others. The Mumbai store is Sabyasachi’s largest thus far and comes because the designer’s team can also be growing quickly, with Sumati Mattu this month being appointed chief executive officer. Mattu was earlier with consumer goods company Hindustan Unilever, a subsidiary of Unilever Ltd. The late Karl Lagerfeld’s most ambitious hospitality project, a lavish 271-room luxury hotel in Macao, will open officially in June with a multiday celebration. The project was initially unveiled in 2014, but its opening was delayed by the coronavirus pandemic. Skims Opens Dedicated Shop Inside Saks Fifth Avenue Flagship

Skims, the Los Angeles-based underwear, loungewear and shapewear brand, launched at Saks Fifth Avenue Wednesday. The partnership brings Skims further into retail. Skims worked closely with Willo Perron of Perron-Roettinger to design a dedicated shop contained in the fifth floor of Saks Recent York. The space features Skims signature rounded-edged fixtures, inclusive mannequins and a shapewear wall. To commemorate the launch, Skims also designed a visible installation on the foremost floor atrium of Saks Recent York with digital screens displaying a campaign of models wearing Seamless Sculpt shapewear walking across Recent York City’s bustling streets.
