Amuse-bush? Kim Kardashian is putting pubes on Skims
Kim Kardashian has jumped on the full bush agenda. Today (October 14), her brand Skims launched a range of underwear in a series of nude skin colours with elastic side straps and various types of hair attached to it. Hand-made in a super sheer, stretch mesh, the string thongs feature a mix of curly and straight faux hair in 12 different shade variations. Basically, it’s a merkin – and perfect for anyone who regrets their laser or wants to have a campy play around with some fake bushes. As the brand puts it, “With this iconic new panty, your carpet can be whatever colour you want it to be.” When the year started with the TikTok ‘full bush in a bikini’...

Your body, your choice – are pubes disgusting or

So you want to grow out your pubes?
The first thing I ever did with my pubic hair was shave it and this remained my only form of pubic hair grooming until my late twenties. Our generation grew up with the beauty ideal of hairless bodies, super-low-rise denim, laser hair treatments and Carrie Bradshaw’s Brazilian. Today, the norm remains hairlessness when it comes to women’s bodies, however, pubes are slowly beginning to infiltrate pop culture. You could spot (fake) pubes on Margiela’s runway last year, on the main character of the movie Poor Things, and in Doja Cat’s Grammy look by Dilara Fındıkoğlu (real ones, this time). Meanwhile TikTok users have been praising the full bush and arguing that those people who have them are more trustworthy. If all...

Fur is the natural beauty brand changing the conversation

Fur is the natural beauty brand changing the conversation
We speak to Fur co-founder Laura Schubert concerning the perils of ingrown hairs and their signature pube oil Laura Schubert is the co-founder and CEO of Fur, a Recent York-based hair and skincare brand disrupting the taboo around body hair. Taking an inclusive approach, the brand has developed 4 multifunctional all-natural products which might be useful for the hairless, body hair groomers and everybody in between. First is the stubble cream that softens growing hair and acts as a body moisturiser, then the silk scrub that doubles as an exfoliating mask depending on how you employ it. There may be an ingrown concentrate that alleviates bumps, and other common symptoms of ingrown hairs...
