My NYFW SS26 Presentation introducing: Miss USA 1991. At first glance, it is a surreal albeit camp commentary about pageants and the utter objectification and misogyny that exists in that culture. But layered, like an easter egg in the subtext of the storyline, is a story of 7 trans women on public display all representing US States that have had trans rights revoked in the last 6 months.
