Sephora Promotes CMO Deborah Yeh – WWD
Within the midst of a world reshuffling of its C-suite, Sephora goes all-in on a world executive. Deborah Yeh, who currently serves as executive vp, global chief purpose officer and chief marketing officer of Sephora for North America, will transition solely to global chief purpose officer, effective Jan. 1. Sephora Americas president and chief executive officer Jean-André Rougeot noted in a memo seen by WWD that “together with her sharp strategic mindset and real passion for people and advocacy, we all know she's going to shape our purpose journey into one which will probably be industry-defining,” adding that she's going to report back to Guillaume Motte, the retailer’s newly minted global CEO. The British designer has released a brief comical Christmas video imitating an ‘80s QVC teleshopping program showcasing the perfect gifts to purchase for the festive season, starting from products from her own ready-to-wear; accessories and beauty range, to endorsing items by her family and friends. “Ho! Ho! Ho!
