King Charles Honors Anna Wintour, Roksanda Ilincic in Debut
LONDON – Anna Wintour and Roksanda Ilincic have each received accolades in King Charles’ debut birthday honors list. Wintour, who already holds the title of Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire, has change into a Companion of Honour, a top accolade. She joins figures including Paul Smith, J.K. Rowling, Elton John and Paul McCartney as members of the select group. The glory is reserved for individuals who have made “a significant contribution to the humanities, science, medicine, or government lasting over a protracted time period,” based on the British Royal Household. ‘Mood of the Moment’ at Dallas Men’s Show
For buyers, the Dallas Men’s Show, which runs July 29 – 31 on the Dallas Market Center, is a must-attend event where over 400 of the highest apparel and accessories brands tout their latest collections. This 12 months, the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), in collaboration with Confindustria and Confindustria Moda, is sending 20 Italian men’s brands to the venue for the primary time. As Atlanta’s Arts and Film Scene Gains Traction, SCAD
Consistent with the strengthening arts and entertainment industry in Atlanta, the Savannah College of Art and Design’s SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film has tapped Alex Delotch Davis as executive director. Within the role, Delotch Davis, whose background includes 15 years of luxury, fashion management and humanities activations, may also oversee the museum’s outpost in Lacoste, France. She succeeds Alexandra Sachs, who spent 10 years on the university. The brand new hire knows the university well, having earned a master’s in luxury and fashion management from SCAD.
