Spirits were high at on the Fragrance Foundation’s fiftieth annual awards ceremony on Thursday, with the “fragrance effect” in full force.
The event, held at The David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in Latest York, drew a record-high 900 attendees from all corners of the industry and beyond, celebrating the buoyancy of a category whose sales are up 13 percent year-to-date, in response to Circana. Fragrance Foundation president Linda Levy noted there have been more nominations this yr than ever before. “2022 was such an excellent fragrance yr,” she said during her opening remarks. “We received more nominations than ever before.”

LONDON — Harrods’ womenswear blitz has begun with the opening this week of a “Lingerie and Lounge Universe,” a part of a 200 million pounds-plus, 10-year store-wide refurbishment.
The primary-floor space, which spans roughly 16,000 square feet, is 50 percent larger than the previous one. It offers a broader collection of lingerie, sleep and lounge wear; larger dressing rooms with sympathetic, three-way lighting; and soft-edged interiors by David Collins Studio.
It's the primary reopening on the womenswear floor, which might be progressively refurbished in a longterm project set to wrap up in 2026.
Some 47 brands are on offer, 14 of that are latest to Harrods. There are also exclusives from bestselling brand Olivia Von Halle and from Aubade’s latest Elie Saab collaboration....

The American Medical Association isn't any longer recommending the usage of BMI (body mass index) as a measure of health and weight, after years of controversy and criticism across the metric. Last week, the AMA voted to adopt a recent policy which recognises not only the bounds of BMI as an “imperfect measure” of health, but additionally its “historical harm” and “use for racist exclusion”. As an alternative, the association, which is considered one of the biggest medical groups within the US, now recommends alternative measures for diagnosing obesity – along with BMI – be utilized in clinical settings.
