Despite the eyeballs his clientele attracts, Epinette is a person of easy pleasures, evidenced by his interview with WWD on a recent morning in a Latest York farmer’s market.
“It’s like being in a garden,” Epinette says of his surroundings, which range from organic produce to artisanal cheeses. “I don’t have a house and a garden in Latest York. That is what I do to set the mood for the day — often on Wednesdays, or the weekends. That’s where I get inspired, and I often buy flowers.”
