No offence to pregnant women you are all amazing but with Rihanna's case I wished she moved her performance to another year if she's not able to perform her best. If the only thing that the media is hyping about is the baby bump and the floating stage and not the performance itself then pretty much there's a problem there. It was pretty apparent that the dancers were asked not to do any crazy steps for them not to overshadow her. Since she was just walking around the stage and doing some cute dance steps.
Pretty ironic how she projects a life of extra but gave us a bare minimum performance.

Lemme say when I am a big fan of hard ass hitting choreo BUT this is a Super Bowl performance. ITS A HUGE AREA. Nobody gonna be keeping their eyes on complex moves and a lot of shit happening at the same time. The choreographer knows what she's doing. The moves are simple, YET they all look sharp as hell because they gave the energy and the precise body control. I enjoyed the choreo and performance a lot. IN SYNC.

I’m glad you called it. Because people praising mediocrity really needs to stop. We have all seen Beyonce Pregnant and give a better performance. Rihanna literally stood up on the a stage for 13 minutes and did an occasional lean back and that’s it and people are praising it like it’s wine…when they know it’s watered down concentrated grape juice. Furthermore, it was hella unprofessional. Who signs a huge deal like this…just to carelessly decide imma get pregnant!? You don’t see actors or singers or anyone else sign themselves up for a major movie or tour…WHILE trying to get pregnant. It’s unprofessional.
But even if she was gonna perform while pregnant then do it right or don’t do it all. Either show up and SERVE or don’t show up at all. There’s literally nothing memorable about that performance except she’s pregnant. That is saying a lot.

People's expectations were simply too damn high, including mine. Honestly, if you think about it, Rihanna has never ever, not one single day in her life, been a great performer. At most, she's been an ok performer. She's never been a vocalist either. At the end of the day, this SB performance was very much Rihanna, pregnant or not. No choreography at all from her, minimalistic stage design, playback and adlibs, etc. What I disliked the most is her lack of energy. AND YES, I KNOW SHE IS PREGNANT. I am not expecting her to do crazy sh¡t while pregnant, but I expect her to do SOMETHING.
