Clémence von Mueffling + Beauty and Well-being to Host

Beauty and Well-being, a media and event platform founded by industry veteran Clémence von Mueffling, is gearing up for its seasonal pop-up The Collective. 

The event, which might be hosted on the French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) skyroom on May 29 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., will feature several beauty and wellness brands, including L’infuseur, Emily’s Pillow, Koba, AKT London, Shikohin, Nuence, Kure Bazaar, La Rosée and Macrene Actives. 

Together with the spring-themed event, Beauty and Well-being can be celebrating its 10-year anniversary. 

“It’s definitely going to be much more special than usual because we’ve some brands which have never been shown in the USA before,” said von Mueffling. “All of the founders might be there.” 

Von Mueffling first began hosting The Collective pop-ups in 2022 to create an area where attendees could experience a curated assortment of brands. Now, she has built a network of attendees. 

“People come back because they know that it gives them a curation and a window on brands that they’ve not seen” she said. “This makes me very pleased now to have all these distributors joining because we’ve had lots of success stories.”

AKT is a natural, plastic-free and aluminum-free deodorant brand founded by West End actors ​​Ed Currie and Andy Coxon. “They’re dancers in order that they definitely know something about getting the appropriate deodorant,” joked von Mueffling.

This French, family-founded brand, which isn’t currently available within the U.S., offers a line of premium, natural teas and broths. On the event, attendees will give you the chance to check out the brand’s detox teas, a favourite of von Mueffling. 

La Rosée

La Rosée is a French, pharmacist-founded brand that provides a line of skin and hair care products. “In only just a few years, they took over the entire French pharmacies,” said von Mueffling.
