Cute, youthful, wearable….nothing negative to be said. But nothing wildly, enthusiastically positive either. Fashion is SO quiet this season. I don't want to shame quiet luxury, but I feel like we've been in this era for a while. Maybe I just love fashion too much, but I want and need more maximalism in some of these collections. Especially with Versace. Versace is aspirational. Versace is distinct.This is sharp, but I feel like the worlds of Versace and Gucci are on a collision course like the Milky Way and Andromeda.
Again, no complains, but complaints.

I'm not normally a fan of Versace as it often veers too close to the tacky for my taste but this collection is just gorgeous. Love the colour palette, the prints, the horizontal Missoni-ish zigzags, the shine and the swish. Sexy and sophisticated and definitely NOT tacky!
