KZ_K Studio | Interstitial Humans | Campaign Video
The Cool Cycle Collection was inspired by the architect, Adolf Loos – a progenitor of recent architecture, the “destroyer of distraction,” where ornament and crime were to go together conceptually. Using this idea, co-founders, Karolina Zmarlak and Jesse Keyes, of KZ_K Studio, conceived and developed the style video “interstitial Humans,” highlighting the intrinsic link between body and spatial interior. Loos specialized in creating efficient, proportionate, and fluid links amongst functional spaces, launching a network effect (not in today’s digital terms) encouraging human exploration of the “in between” spaces, a type of spatial precision that one would find crafted in the inside of a supremely designed sailboat. “interstitial Human/s”: a video where a really perfect harmony of outerwear (which we call clothing) is according to the furnishings and hallways (we just might call home).
