@xtallu
Don’t get me wrong, it’s not black face, but holy shit it’s just still horrible to do. I mean who in their right mind buys that shade when they’re who’re, sits down at their vanity to start recording, edits the video, adds text, and still thinks “oh yeah this is a GREAT thing to post” like bitch smh
@Xx1nf3ct3d_Sc4bzxX
these comments are purposefully dense. people only care about when things affect them but will call people sensitive when something similar happens to them… those not getting the message of the black woman, yall lack empathy.
@Iseuliluv
As a mixed black & white person. I feel people are too sensitive these days. Covering your face in makeup is not racist. If she made a skit and painted her face black to pretend to be black for the character then I understand it because THAT is the textbook definition of blackface… but she's just putting makeup on probably thinking it's funny. She's used to seeing her lighter skintone so her with a different skin tone probably looks odd and/or funny to her. If I posted a video I found funny and people started calling me racist and hating on me for it I would probably actually become racist! If she did anything else I don't know about I would consider but calling someone racist for this is crazy. It's 2025 guys someone putting makeup on their face won't reverse time to the 1800s.
How about we focus on the people actively harming people bc of race instead of random ppl on the Internet making makeup videos????? Like there are people brutally murdering people bc they're a different color than they are and you guys are worried about makeup.
@coolest_intown
Ok but when black ppl do the same its ok?
@M3RCADES
Yes makeup has no rules BUT NOT IN THIS WAY?
@Eilqaedita
The women clearly didn’t think how it would make people fell like imagine if a black person painted there face white and do the same thing it just mess uo no matter what race you are
@ilovedoomedyaoi
theres a difference between black face and makeup bffr
@daria8571
I don't care if white woman put dark foundation, but bch , be honest, don't play a clown
@Castina-1506
Yall will cry about anything
@tahimwaicij
I thought she was about to do the oil painting technique of starting from dark to light but nahhh😭😭😭
@hallyubaddie7952
Russians. That's all im gonna say.
@holyfreakingclown
actively doing blackface and pretending like it’s ok is fucking wild
@Awhxluv
Black girls black girls what u gonna do when they come for you
@poggorseel
yeah that’s not makeup
also your makeup looks amazing n
@iimarkzzn
how is a grown woman not embarrassed after voluntarily posting blackface on the internet???? will never make sense to me 😶
@idkhey1647
Why do people try passing it as “bronzer”, like bronzers are mostly tan and obviously you wouldn’t put that much, or that shade if you had a lighter skin tone
@luuk3656
I dont see the problem here?
@Arsija_duh
I don’t get it? She just painted her face brown why is it racist? She probably bought a bronzer that is wayy too dark for her sink tone by purpose, but I still don’t get how that is racist
@skellie4580
I said this in another comment elsewhere but for white people crying that this is a double standard, do you just really desperately want to wear blackface out in public or something? Like, do we want it to be socially acceptable? There’s a double standard for a reason.
Blackface has ties to radicalized racism and racist extremists tend to have ties in nazism as well, but that’s not the point. Painting your face white on the other hand has ties to the gothic subculture, a notoriously anti-racist + anti-nazi subculture. That’s the difference, white people historically did it for harm, there’s the takeaway.
If you’d like to be associated with racist nazis based on history for the sake of getting rid of this “double standard” you have free will I guess? But you’re not erasing history and making people forget by doing this. You just look ridiculous throwing a tantrum over wanting permission to buy the darkest foundation and participate.
@Sweettr4sh4u
If she wants ro she can just like if black people want to they can use white people foundation
@Rezzyeloizee
Big fyi, blackface was really only big in other countries. It also involved mocking black people. If someone is just doing art, which it doesn't seem like she is, no one shoudl be outraged at your actions. Please learn that much
@fabalize6067
Also this is a new age in society. People seem to be able to get away with being whoever they feel they are. Theres a rich man who had a dog suit made so he can pretend hez really a dog. Crazy stuff but its not the weirdest
@fabalize6067
Truthfully why do people even care what color anyone is or wants to be? Who cares?maybe she does want to be black. How does that actually hurt anyone. Its her face and if she wants it to be brown let thd girl be brown. If a brown person want to be goth white, who cares let them. Let people live gosh. Not everything has to be life and death. Its fucking make up and she never said anything bad nor is painting her face to look like a certain race really going to hurt anyone. Just because she is doing that doesnt mean shes doing it to send any bad message about black people. No little girl should be insecure about her race because of it. If anything think oh she wants to be like me. You cant just accuse people of making a mockery whdn their not.
@fabalize6067
Maybe she thinks black skin is beautiful and wants to know what she would look like if she had black skin. That's not racist. Theirs no harm in appreciating beauty. But she never mentioned black people in anyway so maybe people should teach their little girls not to take things the wrong way. Just because you don't like what someone does doesn't mean it's actually hurting you. Now if the creator actually showed disdain of black people while doing it then that would be racist. She didnt say or do anything racist. Painting your skin is not racist. Thinking theirs a hidden meaning of racism might mean you have racism focused mindset though.
@FrancescaAkira89
Please, stop to use the narcissist word for everything just because it's fashionable, there are other words.
@kurosverse
She could use it as a contour, but she chose the worst option 😮💨
@amayadenson2212
That account sad
@asteriouslyguitar
"if a poc did this with a lighter shade it would be just as bad!1!11!1!1!" hey so white people havent been subject to social and legal discrimination for years on end! hope this helps!!
@toxicfate6078
Outside of the at hand arguement, the contrast looks pretty, if she actually took advantage of that instead of being a dipshit, it probably would've looked cool. Or you can make a batman mask, either way, funky. Dont do bl!ckface, do batman face :))
@tojinii
An interesting expirement would be for some lighter coloured people to use makeup to make themselves look darker coloured to experience difference in how each one is treated.
@lady9764
I honestly hope some day my people will ignore them. Don’t talk about it, don’t argue with anyone don’t give it any attention just go on by our day. 😊 Who cares let them black face on the internet let them be racist on the internet. Because that is the only place they can be racist. On the internet. Why argue about double standards we know we not finna wear no white foundation on our skin, when we complain about there’s not enough foundation with our complexion. Please stop giving them people our attention that do not deserve it.😔
