The responses here are all over the place. Everyone's right and wrong. Naysayers and rabid fans are moved by this collection. Excellent!!!

There is something very wrong, very…off with this latest iteration of the once thrilling collections presented by AA. Go back to the earlier shows and you see pure joy, full expression of the fun of wearing his naturally sensuous designs. Models fought to walk, no, strut for him. There is no freedom of expression, no freedom of the movement he was known for. The fluidity and sexiness completely erased, replaced by grim, uniforms, looking so claustrophobic as to make you uncomfortable to even watch. Then the latex, loads of latex which is about as unsexy as it gets, particularly when it gets steamed up (think about that), or splits (it Does). It’s also time to put “the girls” away and retire the see through everything which is disorienting and not sexy. Nobody needs to walk around showing everything and I’m not a prude. It’s just so obvious and silly. Alaiaia was brilliant, known for making women feel glamorous and desirable, the clothes notoriously fun to wear while turning heads. If you’re honest, there is none of that on display here. It’s sad, indeed. Mt opinion of course.
