When the house was without a Creative Director looks better than this. This collection looks too watered down from the AnnD I've always seen. But this his first and would definitely love to see more collections from Ludovic, in my own opinion with time he will come to understand the house codes better

I love the feather bra (feather made from leather) and the classic deshabille gowns.
I read somewhere that this collection will be inspired by Rob Mapplethorpe; perhaps I was wrong.
As Ludovic explained in his interviews, this collection was inspired by the brand's (Ann's) 89 archive pieces.
The choice of music could have been better to connect the soul of the clothes with the brand's DNA. Somehow I was expecting unity, familiarity, and celebration. I was expecting long, flowy accessories. Perhaps fringe-trimmed belts made of silk ribbons with beads at the ends draped like Ann D. Serax pendant lamps.
Models walking too fast on the runway while wearing silk and wool clothes? Pls enlighten me as i didn't think it did any justice to these beautiful clothes.
Ludovic explained that this is an introduction, a letter to Ann, paving the way to this new chapter.
I hope I get to see the SS24 show next September in Paris. I'd love to see Ludovic and the sequel to this show.
