Thank you for reminding me to clean my damn lash comb. I forgot how well these things work when they arenโt barely scratching the lash lol
@linzbelle
Back in the 90's we used sewing needles
@nickduke232
I find that oddly satisfying to watch ๐

Its the confidence for me. That close with spiky sharp objects near the eyeball without a single flinch, shaking hand, or look of fear is giving bad a@@!
@arissa1762
i have distichiasis so i literally use the eyelash comb without mascara, so that my eyelashes don't knot. i literally thought that's what it was for at first. ๐ญ
@PixieCadet
A spoolie ( clean basic mascara wand) works pretty well too
@Szendiiiiiiiii
why even bother. Just do fake lashes ????
@guisanteelvenus
what is that comb/brush called?
@RefriedBeans420
This tool is ESSENTIAL for us professionals! Spot on!!โค๐

I used needles or safety pins
@astiearl
My method for wispy eyelashes:
1. Take mascara and wipe off excess with tissue (I have black eyelashes but prefer brown products)
2. Apply light coat
3. Wait for it to dry
4. Use mascara wand/brush to declump (dense bristles are best, also it didn't work well with plastic or silicone)
5. Use lash curler (I know you're supposed to curl before mascara, but it didn't work for me), how you use curler kinda depends on your eye shape
6. Brush again, I prefer to do eye makeup after dealing with lashes so I don't smudge anything
@sa.kuzya_
Arent you just using too much mascara ? Good mascaras wont do this and look the same

Girls girls listen… use a plastic lice comb. You're welcome.
@asillynoodle
the song beginning with "take these pink ribbons off my eyes" is so incredibly ironic. "I'm just a girl…. that's all that you'll let me be"

Yeah call me crazy bc I used to drive with my knees and my makeup in the pull dowm mirror going to high school and would use a safety pin to separate my eyelashes while still driving!! ๐ฎโ๐จ

Used to use a safety pin to this no big deal

@aspensugar13
People with contacts can't do that๐๐๐
@aspensugar13
We used safety pins back in the 80s and 90s and likely way before. I would suggest not doing that. It can damage your lashes. Best to soak them let it set and wipe off. Urban decays makeup remover is amazing! But can suck if you wear contacts. At least 1 out of dozens of times i end up have to take my contacts out because it gets on them. You spray 1 squirt over your eyes and it works so well the mascara runs off. Can wipe across with tp and it wipes right off. It works better then most. But i haven't tried but a dozen or 2 brands.
@Chr1sssxbaby
thats a nice way to phrase that

Ewwwwwwwwwwww
@micahjacob6335

My mom gifted me a mini beauty set when I was in my teens, in that I had this plastic mini comb, never used it then but now as an adult I use it in same way everytime I apply mascara
@MarkiCampbell-u3d
My sister gave me one of these and I was like…hard pass lol

I guess Iโve never really considered these as dangerous before until now
