Chris Collins, founder and chief executive officer of his eponymous fragrance brand, has been elected to The Fragrance Foundation’s board. He has also been named chair of the muse’s newly established entrepreneurial committee, which goals to reflect and support independent fragrance brands.
Former Vitamin Shoppe chief executive officer Colin Watts has joined personalized wellness and complement company Thorne HealthTech as CEO. He’ll lead the personalized complement and testing unit at the corporate, which was acquired by L Catterton for $680 million last fall.

Venetia Varney has joined The Estée Lauder Cos. as vice chairman, corporate affairs and communications for the U.K. and Ireland. Varney joins the corporate from BlackRock, where she was vice chairman of corporate communications, private markets and sustainable investing.
Fromm International has tapped Rachel Lavipour as its first executive vice chairman of sales, following the hair tool and accessory company’s acquisition by Firelight Capital Partners last month. Lavipour most recently served as vice chairman of sales, Americas, at Malin + Goetz.
Richard Pinabel is Armani Beauty’s recent global brand president. He succeeds Veronique Gautier within the role, who left the brand after leading it for 13 years. Pinabel began his profession at Armani beauty, focused on fragrances, and most recently served as deputy general manager, worldwide, at Lancôme.
