We don’t bite our nails because we are hungry!! Its mainly from nervousness or just a habit and sometimes we don’t even realize we are biting them until they start to hurt or are just too short.

extentions are definitely better, as a nail biter myself what works the best for me is having extentions until my natural nails are a tad bit longer and then i just use a nail hardening treatment so my nails arent as brittle ????

I got gel nails, and hear me out they are pretty but do they last for someone who bites nails? Absolutely NOT! Listen here 2 hours after getting them done they were gone, that shit don’t last, but when I went over and got myself fake nails and put them on, 2 weeks later I had natural nails. And that I also why I don’t do my nails at any new places unless I really need it????

I bit my nails for 25 years, last 3 years on and off (right now I haven't been biting for a few months). Honestly, extensions didn't work for me. There's nothing to lose while biting them. Right now I'm only using regular mail polish and my nails look awesome. It's just a conscious decision to stop biting them. It's very rewarding a few weeks after you stop, when the nails are taken care off and look good. With gel I'd just peal it off with my teeth.
