Christiane Pendarvis Named Co-CEO of Tracee Ellis Ross’ Pattern Beauty

Christiane Pendarvis has been named co-chief executive officer of Pattern Beauty.

She shares the title with brand founder Tracee Ellis Ross, co-CEO and majority owner. Along with brand president Rachel Jonas Gilman, Pendarvis “will drive technique to help further scale Pattern Beauty,” in response to the corporate.

Launched by Ross in 2019 after the actress saw white space in the sweetness industry — working with California-based brand incubator Beach House Group — Pattern Beauty’s hair products were sold direct-to-consumer at patternbeauty.com and exclusively at Ulta Beauty before expanding into Sephora U.S. and Canada in 2021 and into Boots within the U.K. in 2022. This yr the brand introduced its first tool, a blow dryer.
