Winners of CEW’s 2023 Beauty Awards ran the gamut from newcomers to industry heavyweights.
“As we glance to this 12 months’s winners, they reveal a commitment to creativity, a give attention to research and development and ingredients, in addition to the incredible scale, expansion and diversification the sweetness industry is experiencing today,” Carlotta Jacobson, CEW’s president, said upfront of the event via email, noting that for the primary time, the winning products can be shoppable on CEW’s website following their grand reveals.
The festivities, which took to the Hilton Hotel in Latest York on Nov. 7, saw winners range in size and category from Indie Brand of the 12 months — a tie between Bubble and K18 — to Olay, which won awards for each moisturizer and bath and body cleanser.
Summer Fridays took home the Lip Product award for its Lip Butter Balm, while Supergoop founder Holly Thaggard emotionally recalled not having the ability to afford a ticket to a past CEW Beauty Awards during her acceptance speech, and thanked her retail partners for believing in sun care’s seasonless future.
Attendees ranged from industry founders and executives to the influencers nominated for Influencer of the 12 months, an honor nabbed by Rose Siard.
