Moments after the jury voted against the death penalty for Parkland shooter Nikolas Cruz, the parents of 14-year-old victim Alyssa Alhadeff angrily spoke out against the decision.
“I’m disgusted with those jurors, I’m disgusted with the system, which you could allow 17 dead and 17 others shot and never get the death penalty. What do we’ve got the death penalty for? What’s the purpose of it? You set a precedent today,” Dr. Ilan Alhadeff said. “I pray that animal suffers daily of his life in jail – and that he must have a brief life.”

The whole reason the parkland shooter did what they did, was because they wanted fame and attention (seeking fame through sin and cruelty)!
Do NOT give them what they want, do NOT remember their name, do NOT remember their face, and do NOT hand over their victory.
Instead remember Alyssa, Scott, Martin, Nicholas, Aaron, Jaime, Chris, Luke, Cara, Gina, Joaquin, Alaina, Meadow, Helena, Alex, Peter, and carmen!

The parents should not be mad. Life is jail is muchhhhhhhh horrible than an injection to end a life. Other jail mates will "take good care" of him, thoroughly. He doesn't look muscular though. His jail mates will help him do "some exercise."

No need to insult animals. Unfortunately, nothing will change in a society where boys are raised to suck it up and be a man. It’s dismissive, doesn’t foster empathy, self esteem, respect, nor problem solving skills. Can’t cry, can’t talk about it, so how does one ever find resolve for everyday issues, let alone life? Not being in control of one’s life and emotions is a recipe for tragedy. There’s a reason why school shooters, serial killers, murderers, perpetrators of sexual assaults, excessive force, domestic violence and crime are mostly male. And women being the primary care givers of children can change the world if we really wanted to do better.

I remember watching a news piece some time ago about the chemicals used for death row inmates. The problem is the pharmaceutical companies are ceasing sales to states that do have the death penalty. While there are other ways you can administer the death penalty, death comes sooner than exhausting your appeals.
