I am wondering what the temp of your flat iron is. You may have mentioned it, but I notice that you are able to grab the hair after you pass the iron over it. When I blow dry my hair, my fingers burn when I grab the hair I just dried. Maybe I have my blow dryer to hot.

Thank you for these tips. I definitely need a tourmaline flat iron. My old reliable flat iron is ceramic and i think it's fine for it to go. I also space out my heat styling and I feel it helps my natural curls. My struggle area is my ends. I feel my hair is weaker right now nd my ends feel rough as I comb through it. 💜

That's why a lot of black models and actresses use wigs. So the stylists at shows and sets can't touch their real hair! They also bring their own make up.
