Why am I the only who feel uncomfortable when I watch cuticle prep videos? It looks so painful. Cuting cuticle doesn't feel right. I know everybody is doing it but it doesn't feel hygienic or healthy to me. All I see is the cut red skin around the nail… 😅

I had that happen to two of my fingers recently. Not sure if its another reason for it but i had an allergic reaction to a nail product which caused excessive damage to my finger skin and nails. Wonder if thats related to it happening out of the blue?

I thought I was alone here too! Nail techs would make certain fingers bleed just digging away but I randomly got an e file and this bit just to see if it would work and my cuticle prep is so much simpler now! I still need to use a cuticle pusher for my more stubborn fingers but this really helps get them started and it’s never made me bleed

My goodness, it's finally being acknowledged! I stopped having my nails done for this very reason. Every time I would experience pain, I would he told I was being a baby (or flat out lying) and when I would end up with an infection or burn as a result, I was blamed as if I didn't take care of my nails. I tried so many techs and finally decided to just quit all together. I've got literal tears in my eyes because this video is validation….thank you!❤
