Everyone please listen. These nails are not short. They are long. Anything longer is getting into extremes. That is absolutely wonderful too, but please stop calling these short nails. Most humans on the planet would consider the final results long beautiful nails that were impractical for everyday activities. I could not do my job or go to the gym or garden with these so they are not short.

I know it's the clients choice, but her nails were more beautiful with their natural shape and length. These aren't short at all! Your work is gorgeous of course but it's sad someone with gorgeous natural nails wants to change them. I pay to have my weak flat nails as strong and pretty as her natural nails

Sharp square nails are sooo in!!!!!! I’m in manicuring school and my teacher who is old school and so is one of me classmates and they HATE it! 😂 but since the square nails are so in everyone ignores their advice and they seem very old-school and out of date and out of style 😬😬😬😬 so i guess it’s better to pretend you’re into the trend 😂

Seems like that jelly red was a little too opaque… maybe should've thinned it out with some top coat…. idk just my thoughts. Still love the nails though!!!

My nails are just like this. Narrow beds, high apex, deep c curve, stick cuticles. Overlay is a lot of work because the product shifts to the tip. I love how my apex is practically already built, but the weakest part is the sides. It's also hard to find gel tips that fit. They're often too flat.

I wore square for years but my edges rounded . Like crisp edges so now by go to shape is coffin.my favorite shape on me is stiletto but not practical for me because my job has so much typing ❤

I think her nails look flat at the tips. Would it be possible to pinch to make them rounder?

The client has such beautiful natural nails that I feel bad about the set she came in with – maybe that tech was new or something?

I love the look of almond nails and I wear them occasionally but my everyday look is short square. I type a lot and cook every day and short square works best for me. I don’t have the sharp corners, I file just enough so they’re not sharp.

I tried short square nails once but the corners bothered me & made my nails look wider. also after 2-3 weeks the corners became softer and looked more round at the end! I actually think they look quite pretty on other people but it doesn’t work for me 😅

  • @WellWoopdidoo

The colour and design at the end look great, but as someone who’s never had a manicure before I found the whole process nightmarish to watch.

The jelly red on top is how they paint " cherry red " cars too!! It just gives extra depth to the color vs. a glittery red n top coat only.
Lately they have been doing a cherry blue, (teah i heard it as cherry lol) car color and omg its gorgeous!!!
I guess you can probably tell someone 🤭 has been listening to her hubby's car shows 😅. But it gave me painting inspiration!! 😊

I have a question. I use hard gel to glue on soft gel full cover tips then I use hard gel on top to fix the structure. Is that bad? I’ve been doing it on myself and had no issues lol.
