I don’t know why but as a guy it made me smile hearing her come in and ask for a haircut from Johnny. I completely understand wanting your haircut done by a woman, as they will most likely best understand what you’re looking to achieve from both knowledge and personal experience- so I don’t blame the ladies at all for going to their favorite female hairdresser knowing they’ll get what they’re looking for. BUT, I’m sure you make Johnny’s day when you come in and ask for him first. Idk maybe I’m projecting, but it made me smile (and I hope it makes Johnny smile too).

Not a hairstylist here but as someone that works in the beauty industry… asking why a beauty service is “too expensive” is funny to me when you take into consideration that the cost of living is extremely high, the tools and products that are used aren’t cheap, the time that it took to learn how to cut hair, the long hours and hours at school plus how much it cost to go to school. You’re not only paying for the service you’re paying for the time and labor that person took to learn that skill. Asking that question while you film this on your $1000 iPhone girl 🙄 try to do it yourself and see it’s not easy. Just get your $40 cut and move along.
