As a category 4 hurricane, Ian isn't going to be good news for Florida. Folks, please listen to authorities and local state officials on this one; just evacuate. Remember, Florida was hit by the worst Hurricane in coastal Atlantic history with the Key West Hurricane in 1935 which was category 5, and Hurricane Andrew in 1992, (that was a Category 5 too), which turned Homestead, Florida into scene of what looked like a giant bomb went off. Such a storms can wipe neighborhoods off the face of the Earth, kill many people, and wash away miles of land.
