Fun fact! The submarine became basically an underwater pressure cooker thanks to the heat generated bu the pressure. They became human goo in like10-15 milliseconds. Our brain process information in around 90-100 milliseconds if i remember right. So really their death was painless for them. One millisecond they were alive and the next they were goo and a part of the ecosystem.
