Not managing an eating disorder properly and throwing them on a high calorie diet without any gradual build up to getting to a normal level of food/calorie consumption can be physically dangerous and lead to Refeeding Syndrome. The government should've done something about this a long time ago but the kickbacks have been too sweet and forthcoming. If the government refuses to address it, it's not gonna stop until we decide to put our foot down and stop it ourselves.
It's appalling how easy it is to convince parents that their children's rebellion means their "troubled" when in reality, it's just normal adolescent behavior.

It's fucking insane. These are all just a normal part of growing up. More people should be horrified that there are parents out there that actually think it's okay and effective to allow complete strangers to physically and mentally terrorize their child into compliance. What's the point in protecting them so diligently while they're little kids only to hand them over strangers? And consenting to these strangers mistreating them with the hope that it'll make them into the children you think they should be: docile, pliant and unquestionably obedient. Yeah, breaking their spirit may cause irreversible trauma but it's a risk they'll take for the perfect child.
With the religious based programs, I'm convinced that their goal is to break a kids spirit while they're young in an attempt to ensure they'll grow up to be the kind of adults that are more easily controlled and will give all their time, energy, and most importantly, money to the church. It's sickening that they can pretend to be so holy and sanctimonious when in reality, they're getting rich off by making a perversion out of faith.

What I would do I would say get me out of here or I’ll call the cops you they can’t control anyone so if anyone is going to a school like this remember if it’s for a short time just fallow the roles but if not do anything if you want or else it’s child abuse no one can control you unless it a law rule and if you get in one of these schools they can only keep you untel your 18 so when you get out they already hurt you in some way so calll the cops hope this helps
