This is exactly what I do to my nails, I didnt know other people was doing this, but it made since because it be looking bulky on me near my cuticles.
@nerakspice
If you have one a buffer block a takes way less time to file the top instead of using the drill. I use a dull one so I don't scratch up the surrounding skin🤌🏾

Hey good morning and good afternoon how are you feeling and doing.😊❤
@bunnytrees03
Is the brush you used with acetone a natural one or synthetic?
@MillaKnoga
How do you get the gel X off?
@rili84
for anyone nervous to use an e file. there are these cuticle pusher looking sticks that have a nail file tip on one end. its precise . easy to file near the cuticle and have more control. it helped me a lot when i got started with an e file. they are super cheap 2. this way i could file only where i needed it and not overfile another area. or damage my cuticle
update:
i tried to find what they are called. they are nail cuticle files. you can either get them with the file attached (they look like a regualr cuticle pusher) or you can get Disposable Self-Adhesive Cuticle Pusher Sandpaper. those are sand paper stickers in an oval shape you stick onto your cuticle pusher. and these particulary are really cheap.

I have a question so for the grit 180 thing could I just use a nail file?
@kimberlygabriela8632
can you do a video on different ways to take them off?
@Happygoodnew
Did you apply a basecoat prior to the glue application for adhering the nail tip?
@Nellsbells79
The aceton idea is fuggin brilliant ❤ thank you
@What-A-Woman
Hey hun, did you apply for acetone after putting the nail tip? And if yes, why?
@TrinBago_Sweet
Why is it called "ring of fire"?
@loriannrivera-nieves3359
Your channel is a God-sent. I needed a simple broken down step by step process on Gel X and this is IT 🤌🏼🙌🏼
@jowood8211
As a beginner, this is an amazing tutorial thank you ❤
@christina4316
I’m glad I saw this. I tried it this way today for the first time. I just realized I put my tip too far from my cuticle but I still blended it nicely. I like it a lot. I look forward to not having that bulky ridge when it grows out. Thank you❤
@BsFamily-u8u
Thank yous! That's 💯 percent right! #nailsasthome 🎉❤
@keichin9009
The acetone at the end is a game changer 👏🏽
@upwithjesssss
A safer way is to file the tip area that goes to the cuticle, thinner first then glue it down. Especially for beginners otherwise rings of fire or over drilling will happen easily.
@shellyboggs9093
I use a hand file and thin out the cuticle area be for it gets glued down

@angelamower6264
Would you have to use a dehydrator and primer after sealing the cuticle as well? Or just be good to go in with biab, hard gel, or gel color?
