Un pensiero di grande apprezzamento per HUI e per la collezione Primavera-Estate 2027 presentata a Milano.
Fin dall’installazione artistica realizzata in collaborazione con l’artista italiana Maria Jole Serreli, che ha aperto la sfilata, si percepiva un dialogo profondo tra memoria, tradizione e contemporaneità. Mi ha colpito molto il modo in cui elementi della cultura cinese e orientale sono stati reinterpretati con grande leggerezza, senza perdere la loro identità, ma trovando una nuova espressione, fresca e attuale.
Ho trovato molto bella la delicatezza dei capi, il movimento, la leggerezza dei materiali e soprattutto quella capacità di far apparire giovane una tradizione antica.
È questo, forse, ciò che mi è rimasto maggiormente: la sensazione di una cultura che non viene semplicemente raccontata, ma trasformata e portata nel presente con sensibilità, eleganza e libertà.
Complimenti a HUI per questo bellissimo incontro tra radici e contemporaneità, e a Maria Jole Serreli per aver contribuito, attraverso l’arte, a introdurne il racconto.
