Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck made a date night out of LACMA’s twelfth annual Art + Film Gala on Saturday night in Los Angeles. The superstar couple each wore Gucci, with Lopez choosing a sheer evening gown featuring bodice cutouts, floral embroidery and a thigh-high slit. Affleck, meanwhile, suited up in a black tux, bowtie and boots.

Lopez accessorized with a shimmery Tyler Ellis envelope clutch and nude platform sandals by Andrea Wazen. Her jewelry included a cuff bracelet, dangle earrings and an announcement necklace adorned with a big scarlet tourmaline. The singer and wonder entrepreneur wore her highlighted caramel tresses in flowing waves, while her makeup consisted of a smokey eye and a glossy nude lip.

Lopez and Affleck were hardly the one celebrities in attendance at this yr’s gala. Billie Eilish, Jessica Chastain, Paris Hilton and Heidi Klum also appeared on the star-studded event. Michelin Star chef Mattia Agazzi of Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura in Beverly Hills catered dinner for the evening, which was followed by a performance by Lenny Kravitz.

Gucci brought the runway to the museum with the introduction of Gucci Ancora Notte, the primary eveningwear collection designed by Sabato De Sarno.

It’s been a busy yr for Lopez, who went on an in depth press tour for her latest film, “The Mother,” this spring. Directed by Niki Caro, Netflix’s “The Mother” stars Lopez as an ex-assassin who comes out of retirement to rescue her estranged daughter.

Lopez also became an envoy for the lingerie brand Intimissimi, appearing of their spring 2023 campaign before revealing her first collaborative line with the corporate in October.

Staged by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the 2023 LACMA Art + Film Gala celebrates painter Judy Baca and filmmaker David Fincher. The twelfth annual fete was co-chaired by LACMA trustee Eva Chow and actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
