Last night, I did the following nail design: I painted the bottom half of my nails in red wine/glitter effects, the top in cherry red. I then added a layer of the wine glitter over the cherry. I finished with a clear topcoat. It resulted in an ombre effect!

i like the design, but the nail building is bad. you should pay attention to how thick they are and keep them relatively same. also the bottom of your nails go outwards a lot, try to trim them and make sure they go in straight line. ( unless you're doing the duck shape ) You could also give yourself some mani, since the little skin on your nails make them look uneven and it will make the "roots" stand out more and form quicker. please remember to check your nails from the front and side, not only the top. and when you use the peel, you waste a lot of nail polish.
