Happy Friday my friends! Just wanted to let you know what I did on the other 2 days I tried this hack for those of you suggesting things that might help & let you know I did them already & while they did improve things a bit, it wasn't enough that it beat my normal setup for creasing & wear! I tried it with and without sunscreen and tried it with my NYX powder instead of the Maybelline powder, I also switched eyes. Sunscreen didn't seem to have any effect on it either way, using NYX powder definitely looked better than the Maybelline powder to start but by 4 hours the Aquaphor was making my concealer settle into my wrinkles and making it wear off. In the end my regular concealer setup was better!

For those of you who wanted an update on my dog post surgery, she came through the surgery well and is healing up nicely! The first 2 days post-op were really rough but I gave her lots of pain killers & love! She started putting weight on the leg after a few days and is getting around well. She gets the stitches out & cone off today so we'll both be thrilled about that! She ruptured her CCL (equivalent of our ACL) about 6 weeks ago & had TPLO surgery to give her use of the leg back. I don’t see how using two different products over the aquaphor can be a true test to how it can work. You should use the same product on both sides to get a true understanding on rather this can work or not.

Aquaphor works great for me, but I have not tried the powder. I use NYX HD finish banana powder. 😊

I tried it and I don’t like the powder at all with the aquaphor. The powder is super heavy. I have oily skin and suspect the aquaphor will not work well without the powder as well.

I tried “slugging” the under-eye with Aquaphor Healing Ointment at night, but that gave me milia. After they resolved I resumed applying Aquaphor, but in a thin layer. Since my milia only appeared in the tear trough area I aim to stay above that. Overall I prefer Aquaphor to an eye cream or even Jouer Luminize Slugging Balm. The latter did not cause milia, but I didn’t see a difference after finishing the tiny but pricey jar, so Aquaphor it is.

yep, exactly what I thought, it made your wrinkles worse. Of course! Because you're adding a heavy product that's weighing them down. I predicted this right from the start of the video. I don't know why he does that in his routine on people. It would make their underage heavy.

I would try this. I would have some reservations considering mineral oils are not supposed to be good for skin. Also, I would have thought this might be too heavy and tend to cause skin to get puffy or saggy? Still, I would give it a try.

Lifesaver! Swollen eyes caused under eye skin to peel…. Applied Aquaphor lip repair and viola! Soothed my skin so much that I was able to wear concealer. FYI I don't use balm but ointment

Thank you for trying this out for us. I agreed, the Aquaphor extenuates your beauty lines. 😊. Logically it seems like it would make sense to use the extra moisture, but when I put extra moisture under my eyes, it causes them to crinkle, just in general. Thank you for being so brave for all of us. You have been my guide for many years. ❤

I do Aquaphor at night on clean face (under eyes) b4 bed, not with make up. I feel it does help hydration, and mostly soaked by morning.
