You have to be kidding me! Dude is definitely on drugs, hard drugs. Why would you get lost "throwing trash" away? Why would you "see" your truck and jump in the lake? Then, if what you say happened…did the gator drag you to some remote part of the "lake" that you couldn't see your vehicle again? Three days with a ripped off arm, wandering "aimlessly" around when you where at the lake. Who/what/why are the officers/reporters not really asking the real questions. Eric, you're a warrior, dude, for being so brave. I was ignorant and didn't realize feeding gators was not a wise choice so I would feed this Gator who would swim next to my wifi spot where I would sit and use the wifi. Well– long story short, one night about an hour after feeding it, I very stupidly turned my attention toward my phone and the next thing I know I hear quick scampering in the grass and as I peak over the little concrete stem wall separating the stream from the sidewalk, I see the Gator lunging at me with everything he had! I screamed real loud and it spooked him enough to perform a lighting flash, 180° jump in mid air right back in the stream where he boldly floated around for the next few hours, nose and eyes dipping up and down every few minutes. Needless to say and gratefully with every limb still intact, I learned my lesson and never hung out in that spot again, nor will I ever feed a Gator again! Don't know how I would've reacted if he snagged my arm but I hope to think it would've been as alert and relentless as you did! God bless you bro– Jesus was with you on that day. Spend the rest of your life thanking Him for it!

This whole lost in the woods for 3 days is confusing to me. He got lost before the attack, then saw his truck and decided to swim, got attacked and THEN was lost for 3 days? He just said he’d seen his truck, sooooo. Huh? I mean, first of all, that’s a lot of getting lost. Second, no details about how someone who gets lost easily and swims in a huge late at dusk, manages to survive a massive wound like that roaming around in the woods. For 3 days. Wouldn’t you bleed out? I don’t get it
