As I Am Classic is a very light leave-in I use myself (similar hair type) and/or you could try hair oils (which are also good for gently breaking up curl clumps post dry)
Also, seems to me like your hair is not wet enough for most of your products, which would be contributing to the stringy look at the end. The wet towel will help, but more moisture is always better. The bowl method exists for a reason lol

I have very weight sensitive hair you might want to try the "not your mothers" hair line the curl cream and mousse work amazing and are super light on the hair. I also found i cant use conditioner on my hair because of the weight of the coating it leaves. Instead I use the curl cream to moistureize my hair and it works amazing.

GUYS, i need an advice: i can’t find the gel literally anywhere, do you think i can replace it with something else/do a different procedure and yet still get the same result or do i necessarily need a gel for my waves to look good? cause I tried with just mousse and it’s not working (also i did find the curl cream, do you think i should buy it?)

ok hadn't seen the og video before this and I went back.. girl yours are soo much better looking than what the hairstylist did, like, maybe someone doesn't like the separated curl look? that's the only reason I can see why someone might say that was better, but to me your hair in this video looks perfect
