Last night, the Met Gala missed out on one star we’ve all been swooning over: Olandria! The morning of the carpet, her makeup artist Ngozi “Esther” Edeme—who did Tyla’s makeup look for the ball and was supposed to do Ola’s—responded to a fan on X about her absence. “They played with our girl y’all. Next time,” she wrote. “I obviously can’t get into what’s happened behind the scenes but it’s not happening this year.”

Regardless, it was a missed opportunity as she’s one of the most talked about celebrities—who was trending on X leading up to the Gala—since she left the Love Island villa as the season’s favorite. And, naturally, her red carpet moments have never disappointed. At the Vanity Far Oscar Party, for one, she looked as ethereal as a sky-dwelling entity (like “Jean Jacket” from Nope) in a white Pajtim Raci gown. Her look for the Bridgerton premiere in Paris was another hit, with her forehead veiled in lace and hair pulled back into a classic updo.

Her emerald mermaid gown at the Golden Globes was talked about for weeks after: sexy, corseted, and paired with a pearlescent manicure. What’s been the biggest trend for Olandria, however, is the impact of her blush. At the CFDA Awards, her chocolate brown bodice was the perfect match for her high-cheekboned blush. Other times, she matched her blush to her gown, like at Glamour Women of the Year and Femme It Foward’s Give Her FlowHERS Gala.

And, of course we can’t forget her ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood debut: a golden gown, black nails, and gorgeous curls we couldn’t keep our eyes off of.

Ahead, take a look at all of Olandria’s best red carpet beauty and fashion moments.
