Princess Diana’s Iconic Sheep Sweater Goes to Auction at

The sweater is widely credited with being the catalyst for Diana’s status as a fashion icon. Sotheby’s currently estimates the worth of the sweater between 40,000 kilos and 70,000 kilos.

In 2020, the sweater regained popularity during Season 4 of the hit Netflix series “The Crown,” when Emma Corrin, who portrayed Diana within the show, wore a duplicate also created by Warm & Wonderful.

Warm & Wonderful stopped producing sweaters in 1994, however the brand was revived in 2019 when Rowing Blazers’ creative director Jack Carlson made a take care of the Warm & Wonderful founders, Sally Muir and Joanna Osborn. A cotton edition of Diana’s sheep sweater is now available on Rowing Blazers’ website for $248.
