Today marks what would have been Kim Porter’s 55th birthday. The Columbus, Georgia-born model and actress, who passed in 2018 tragically from pneumonia, was often found serving outer beauty looks that matched her inner beauty. This was the case everywhere from her video vixen days—think: Heavy D and Big Daddy Kane music videos—to the red carpet, and more.
With long lean legs, covetable cheekbones, and the most impeccable melanin-rich skin, The Brothers and Wicked Wicked Games star made a note-worthy entrance every time she stepped into a room. When it came to hair, Porter rocked everything from a sleek silk press, to a pulled back ponytail and blunt bangs—effortlessly pulling off any look. As for makeup? The muse opted for signature and timeless beats. Lucious lashes, blushy cheeks, glossed lips, and a lit-from-within glow always included.
