By all accounts, to know Summer Fridays is to like Summer Fridays. The brand, cofounded by mega-influencers Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Irelandentered the scene in 2018 with its much-loved Jet Leg Mask and has grown exponentially within the years since, earning high praise (and two Allure Better of Beauty Awards) for its plush, nourishing formulas.
Still, the origin story of Dream Lip Oil is a well-known one. “We considered the name Jet Lag Mask first and formulated backward,” says Hewitt of the unconventional approach to product development. “We did the identical thing for Dream Lip Oil: We got here up with the name first, knowing the feel and the end result we wanted to attain.”
