Cosabella Celebrates fortieth Anniversary With Forte Collection

Cosabella is that this month launching its latest collection, titled Forte, in honor of its fortieth anniversary. “The gathering type of speaks for itself by way of its heritage. It’s at all times been based on color and luxury — the keys to our collections have at all times been stretch and the comfort factor, which became really necessary throughout the COVID-19 time period,” Guido Campello, managing director of Cosabella, told WWD. Moschino Staging fortieth Anniversary Show in Milan in September

MILAN — Moschino is planning a fashion show to be staged in Milan on Sept. 21 that can mark the brand’s 40th anniversary. The event during Milan Fashion Week is conceived to pay tribute to “the remarkable achievements” of founder Franco Moschino “and his enduring legacy,” said the corporate. Stylists Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, Katie Grand, Gabriella Karefa-Johnson and Lucia Liu will spearhead this season’s collection, each creating 10 contemporary looks inspired by the works of the late designer. Moschino has not yet announced a successor to the newest creative director, Jeremy Scott, who exited the brand in March after 10 years. What to Watch: J. Crew’s fortieth, Banana Republic’s Traction

Fashion on the mall is beginning to look so much higher, due to recent energy and marketing initiatives at two of America’s major retail chains. On a cold day just before Thanksgiving, a gaggle of well-heeled L.A. women were rushing racks of J. Crew feather-trimmed cotton poplin shirts, vivid yellow bouclé jackets, pink velvet blazers and black crystal-covered satin pouch bags, because the brand’s women’s creative director Olympia Gayot looked on nearby.
