Fran Horowitz is busily transforming Abercrombie & Fitch Co. — and collecting large stock awards along the way in which.
The chief executive officer’s total compensation tallied just over $11 million last 12 months, a 14.1 percent decline from a 12 months ago, in response to the corporate’s proxy statement filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Most of that payday — $8.2 million — got here in the shape of stock awards, the complete value of which is able to depend upon how well the retailer’s stock performs. That ties the fortunes of the CEO to those of stockholders.
Horowitz, who has led Abercrombie since 2017, also received a salary of $1.3 million and incentive pay of $1.4 million last 12 months.
