LONDON — The Alexander McQueen brand is branching out. The British fashion home is adding a candle collection to sit down alongside its ready-to-wear, accessories and fragrances. It's a natural and infrequently first step for any brand testing the waters to enter the homeware arena. The candle collection is made up of three scents — Ghost Flower, Pagan Rose and Savage Bloom — taking inspiration from juxtapositioned ideas comparable to “light and darkness, innovation and tradition and strength and fragility,” in line with the brand. LONDON — The imagery from Alexander McQueen’s pre-fall collection campaign, shot by David Sims, shows the garments in a brutalist setting. The British luxury brand has enlisted photographer Sims to shoot its first pre-fall 2023 campaign starring a bunch of models, including Amanda Murphy, Karolina Spakowski, Celina Ralph, Sora Choi, Alaato Jazyper, Florence Huntington-Whiteley, Florence Hutchings, Élise Crombez, Colin Jones, Rejoice Chuol, Wang Han, Wanessa Milhomem and Adhel Bol.
