Sephora North America is succession planning. Artemis Patrick has been named president of the retailer, effective Oct. 2, taking up the title from Jean-André Rougeot, the present president and chief executive officer, who has revealed he'll retire next April. At the moment, Patrick, who's currently Sephora’s global chief merchandising officer, will succeed him as CEO of Sephora North America. She shall be the primary woman to guide the LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned retailer, which is the biggest prestige beauty player within the U.S. In her recent role, Patrick will report back to Guillaume Motte, president and CEO of Sephora’s global business. Freddy Bharucha has been named Procter & Gamble’s first president, North America personal care and wonder operations. Formerly the corporate’s senior vp for its North America personal care division and Old Spice global brand franchise of 5 years, Bharucha will now also lead P&G Beauty’s media efforts, head up its cross-category retail strategy and serve on the board for the Personal Care Products Council. Since moving to Recent York, Japanese-born photographer Fumi Nagasaka has spent the last 20 years exploring the US together with her camera. But it surely wasn’t until 2017 that she visited the agricultural or southern states when a friend Tanya invited her on a visit to her hometown of Dora, Alabama.
