James Charles Proclaims End of Sisters Apparel Brand –
Getty Images for Vanity Fair Social media influencer James Charles took to TikTok to announce he's closing his Sisters Apparel brand. The 24-year-old TikTok star, best known for his beauty videos and his controversies, took to the platform with a video where he said, “Well, it’s official. Sisters Apparel is shutting down. This video is bittersweet for me to make, however it’s been a protracted time coming. Let’s speak about it.” Charles originally began Sisters Apparel in 2017. Fellow social media influencer Jeffree Star’s apparel distribution company Killer Merch used to distribute the Sisters Apparel line, but in 2019, Star and Charles had a widely publicized feud. Dickies is able to tip one back. The workwear brand is partnering with Jameson, the Irish whiskey brand, on a latest apparel and accessories collection. Called Crafted Together, the road will include signature Dickies pieces equivalent to the Eisenhower jacket, in addition to overalls, beanies and caps. Puma has signed its first-ever apparel and footwear sponsorship for a U.S. marathon with Jumping Fences Inc., the event producer of the San Francisco Marathon. The partnership will include sponsorship of all of the events in the course of the race weekend in July together with exclusive footwear and apparel rights. The schedule kicks off on July 21 at Fort Mason Park with the health and fitness expo followed by an ultramarathon, 5K fun run and family 1K on July 22. The total marathon, half-marathon, 10K and 5K will probably be held the next day.
