The entertainer emerged from The Mark Hotel on Monday evening on her strategy to Met Gala after parties — wrapped in digital prints of archival WWD issues. The robe was customized by Sergio Castaño Peña of Syndical Chamber, a Barcelona-based brand that explores today’s digital age through a cheeky, surrealist lens. GYLLENHAAL AND GINORI: Ginori 1735 is rolling out in May its first campaign fronted by an A-list Hollywood actor — Jake Gyllenhaal, whose first photo for the brand was revealed exclusively to WWD. Gyllenhaal will probably be seen portrayed in a photograph series hinging on the Oriente Italiano collection and lensed by Gray Sorrenti. In an attractive video filmed on the storied Ginori 1735 manufacturing plant in Sesto Fiorentino that was recently revamped, Gyllenhaal shines the highlight on the brand’s craftsmanship. Known for her experience archiving and curating for the Museum at FIT, Deitch Projects and other designer archives, with museum-level standards, Clauss was tapped by Tom Ford in 2008 to ascertain a comprehensive achievement of his work.
